Pursuant to section 175 (3) and subject to sections 176 and 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Conservation and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Talley’s Fisheries Ltd. to reclaim the area described in the Schedule hereto.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 188 square metres, or more or less, situated in Waimea County of the Nelson Land District and more particularly shown as part of Lot 1, D.P. 6496 on plan DOC (CM) NE 88/12 (S.O. 14110), deposited in the Nelson Regional Office of the Department of Conservation.

Land Act 1948

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

South Auckland Land District—Thames Coromandel District

3.0079 hectares, more or less, being Sections 38, 40, 41 and 42, Block II, Coromandel Survey District, part New Zealand Gazette, 1889, page 787, and all New Zealand Gazette, 1987, page 2320. S.O. Plans 48704 and 54003.

Reserves Act 1977

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Dunedin City Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Deputy Director-General (Conservation Management) hereby cancels the vesting in The Dunedin City Council and revokes the reservation over that part of the Mount Cargill scenic reserve, described in the Schedule hereto.

Public Works Act 1981

Road Stopped and Acquired for a State Primary School in the County of Oroua

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands:

(a) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto to be stopped:

(b) Pursuant to section 120, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the said portion of road, when so stopped, is acquired for a State primary school on the 4th day of August 1988.

All that piece of road containing 2834 square metres, situated in Block III, Gorge Survey District, adjoining or passing through Sections 31–37 inclusive and 51–57 inclusive, Town of Ashhurst; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 35481, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington.
