The commission of Chaplain Class III C. Joe, L.T.H., is extended until 5 August 1992.
RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS
Appointments
Squadron Leader M. A. Bungay, Q.C., LL.B., is granted the honorary rank of Group Captain with effect from 5 April 1988.
Squadron Leader Gordon Edward Arthur Smith, Retired List ‘A’, is appointed to the Special Service List of the Air Force Reserve in the rank of Squadron Leader, with effect from 9 May 1988; terminating on 8 May 1991.
Extensions of Commission
The commissions of the following officers are extended until the date shown:
Squadron Leader P. T. Cleary, 2 February 1989.
Flight Lieutenant T. H. Hamblyn, 14 January 1992.
Transfer
Wing Commander L. M. Laing, DIP.ED., DIP.TCHG, N.Z.C.E., is transferred from the General Reserve to the Active Reserve until 10 January 1992, with effect from 11 January 1988.

Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976
Specification Declared Suitable
Pursuant to the provisions of regulation 18 (3) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the following specification is declared suitable for the purposes of these regulations.
British Standard
BS5501:Part 8—1988
Electrical apparatus for potentially explosive atmospheres.
Part 8 Encapsulation ‘m’.
Compliance with a declared standard specification shall not preclude the need to comply with the requirements of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.
