CNG Fuel System Approvals

Pursuant to regulation 90b of the Traffic Regulations 1976 (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 7), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby approve the components listed in the Schedule hereto for inclusion in any CNG fuel system installed and operated in accordance with the requirements of New Zealand Standard NZS 5422 Part 2 1987 (and any standard made in amendment thereto or in substitution therefore).

Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986

Approval of Defensive Driving Organisations

Pursuant to section 48 (2) (a) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to section 39A of the Transport Act 1962, under powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument of delegation dated 2 November 1987, I, Geoffrey Thomas Henry, Assistant Director of Road Transport, hereby approve the following organisations to be defensive driving organisations, for the purposes of section 68 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 32 of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987.

Approval of Motorcycle Driving Schools

Pursuant to section 48 (2) (b) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, I, Derek Ernest Homewood, Secretary for Transport, hereby approve the motorcycle driving school listed in the Schedule hereto, to the effect that they may issue certificates of driving instruction to enable a person to obtain a full licence to drive a motorcycle, in accordance with regulation 32 of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987.

Water Recreation Regulations 1979

The Water Recreation Onetangi Beach Notice 1988

I, Kevin William Ward, Chief Controller Maritime Policy, pursuant to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979* and in exercise of the powers delegated to me, pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Onetangi Beach) Notice 1988.

(b) This notice shall come into force 14 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 7 (1) (a), 7 (1) (b), 7 (2), 8 (1) (a), 8 (1) (b) and 8 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations shall not apply to that area as specified in the First Schedule.
