Result of Election of Members to the Dental Council of New Zealand
Pursuant to the Dental Regulations 1964, I, Georgina Alice Jones, the Returning Officer for the purpose of these regulations, hereby give the following notice with respect to the elections of persons to the Dental Council of New Zealand under paragraphs (d) and (e) of section 3 (2) of the Dental Act 1963.

There being only two persons nominated by dentists whose registered addresses are in the North Island, I hereby declare the persons nominated, namely Dexter Darcy Bambery and Peter John Collins, to be elected to the council for a term of 3 years commencing on the 4th day of July 1988.

There being only one person nominated for election by dentists whose registered addresses are in the South Island, I hereby declare the person nominated, namely, Donald George Green, to be elected to the council for a term of 3 years commencing on the 4th day of July 1988.

Reappointment of Director of New Zealand Dairy Board
Pursuant to section 3 (2) of the Dairy Board Act 1961, the board has received advice from the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Ltd that Denis Rex Byles of R.D. 5, Otorohanga has been reappointed as a director of the New Zealand Dairy Board for a further term of office of 4 years from 1 July 1988.

Appointment of a Member of the New Zealand Historic Places Board of Trustees
Pursuant to section 7 of the Historic Places Act 1980, the Minister of Conservation appoints Harry Roger Allen of Auckland to be a member of the New Zealand Historic Places Board of Trustees for a term of office expiring on 31 March 1991.

Levy on Pigs Slaughtered on Licensed Premises 1988/89
Pursuant to section 30 (3) of the Pork Industry Act 1982, notice is hereby given that the levy on pigs slaughtered on licensed premises as from and including the 1st day of October 1988 shall be $3.68 plus GST being $1.58 plus GST for administration, $2.00 plus GST for marketing and $0.10c plus GST for Aujeszky's Disease scheme.

Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session Order in Respect of Registered Comprehensive Nurse
Taiuni Muriel Alyce Peni
In exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (a), 42 (9) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand on 12 May 1988 ordered that the name of the above nurse be removed from the Register of Nurses; that 12 May 1989 be fixed as the time after which Mrs Peni may apply to have her name restored to the Register; that a notice stating the effect of the order be published in the New Zealand Nursing Journal and the Gazette.
