Public Disclosure Notice

John Gregory Collinge, chairman of the Commerce Commission, hereby make the following public disclosure as required by section 14 (3) of the Commerce Act 1986 (the Act).

Pursuant to section 14 (2) of the Act, Colleen Elizabeth Dewe, member of the Commission has disclosed the following pecuniary interests in businesses or bodies corporate carrying on business in New Zealand:

  1. No more than 6000 ordinary shares in Lion Corporation Ltd.
  2. No more than 6500 ordinary shares in NZ Forest Products Ltd.

and those businesses or bodies corporate are concerned in matters before the Commerce Commission, being matters in the determination of which the member who has the above interests is or will be participating, namely:

  1. A merger or takeover proposal that New Zealand Wines and Spirits Ltd. or any interconnected body corporate thereof may acquire up to 100 percent of the issued share capital of Casa-de-Vino Wines Ltd. [AUT/MT-A48/1].

  2. A merger or takeover proposal that Elders Resources NZFP Ltd. or any interconnected body corporate thereof, acquire up to 100 percent of the issued share capital of Crown Corporation Ltd. [AUT/MT-E18/1].
