Ngawhatu Hospital

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Wellington hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 55 revokes the notice dated 11 September 1980, published in New Zealand Gazette of 18 September 1980, No. 110 at page 2768, declaring land to be Crown land in Blocks III, IV, VII and VIII, Waimea Survey District, Waimea County; and

(b) Pursuant to sections 20 and 50, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a psychiatric hospital and shall vest, subject to and together with the rights and liberties set out in Transfer No. 10834 so far as they affect those portions of the land contained in certificates of title, Volume 33, folio 157, Volume 33, folio 255 and Volume 33, folio 256 in The Nelson Area Health Board on the 23rd day of June 1988.

Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land for Road in the Thames - Coromandel District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands hereby amends the declaration dated the 16th day of March 1988, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 24 March 1988, No. 51, page 1148, declaring land to be acquired for road in Block XVI, Coromandel Survey District, Block V, Hastings Survey District, Block I, Whitianga Survey District, and Block X, Otama Survey District, Thames Coromandel District, by amending the operative clause thereto to read as follows:

“Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land firstly to fiftieth (inclusive) and twentieth to twenty-thirty (inclusive) described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 25, and the interest in the land sixty-first to ninetieth (inclusive) described by the said Schedule held from Her Majesty the Queen by Graeme Noel Browne of Coroglen, farmer, under and by virtue of Deferred Payment Licence No. 20D/1010, South Auckland Land Registry is hereby acquired for the purposes of a road and further declares that the land acquired and the interest in land acquired shall vest in the Crown on the 24th day of March 1988.”
