Terms and Conditions
Instructions for tenderers and the general terms and conditions which apply to the submission and acceptance of tenders for these goods are set out both in the Guide to Licence Tendering date November 1986, with the deletion of paragraphs 17 and 211, and in the TEAL and MEAL Allocation Procedures dated March 1985. Bids may be submitted through the Department of Trade and Industry hureafax system. Tenders should be addressed to the Registrar of Tenderers, P.O. Box 3146, Wellington, or Bureaufax (04) 734 638, or be hand delivered to the First Floor, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, Wellington.
Tenders for Round 49 must be received by the Registrar no later than 5 p.m. on Monday 22 June 1987.
Licence Periods
All licences won in this tender round will be valid for the period 1 July 1987 to 30 June 1988.
Australian Origin Goods
All licences won in this tender round are available only for the importation of goods of Australian origin as defined in the Customs Regulations 1968, as amended. The New Zealand/Australia Rules of Origin are also detailed in Article 3 of the Australian New Zealand Closer Economic Relations Trade Agreement.
Classification of Goods
Many goods that are otherwise subject to global import control are exempt when of Australian origin. It is the tenderer's responsibility to ensure the correct classification and licence status of the goods to be imported.
