No. 76

PURSUANT to the Import Control Regulations 1973 (S.R. 1980/246), I, P. E. Donovan, Deputy Secretary of Trade and Industry, acting under delegated authority call tenders for the goods specified below. Tenders close on the 15th day of June 1987 at 5 p.m. and must be received by the Registrar of Tenders by then to be valid.

Instructions for tenderers and the general terms and conditions which apply to the submission and acceptance of tenders are set out in the Guide to Licence Tendering dated November 1986, with the deletion of paras 17 and 21J. Bids may be submitted through the departmental burcaufax system. Tenders should be addressed to the Registrar of Tenders, P.O. Box 3146, Wellington, or Burcaufax (04) 734638 or be delivered by hand to the First Floor of the Bowen State Building, Wellington. Tenders for Round 48 must reach the Registrar no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, 15 June 1987.

TYRE AND TUBE INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

This is the seventh allocation of licence under this plan. No single group of companies is allowed to win more than the specified maximum number of units a tenderer may bid for as advertised under each tender for tubes and tyres. A group of companies is regarded as those companies associated by a 25 percent or more direct or indirect common investment. Licence will be withheld entirely from any group of companies going beyond this limit.
