Declaring Maori Freehold Land to be Included in a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 (2) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be included in the existing Maori reservation known as Torere Pa No. 9, constituted by Order in Council, dated the 23rd day of July 1952 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 52, page 1288 of 31 July 1952.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land situated in Block II, Waiua Survey District and described as follows:

Area m² Being
402 Torere Pa 48 and being all the land contained in a consolidation order of the Maori Land Court, dated 13 August 1937.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a recreation area, bathing place and landing ground for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Turumakina Tribe.
