District Court Judge Appointed

PURSUANT to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947, and section 21 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Heather McGregor Simpson, barrister and solicitor of Thames

to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand and the Jurisdiction of the Children and Young Persons Court.
