Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Services Licence

NOTICE is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 to amend Cook Islands International Airlines Ltd’s International Air Services Licence to permit the licensee to operate B727 aircraft over the following route.

Between points in the Cook Islands and Auckland, optionally via intermediate points in island States of the South Pacific.

This amendment will take effect on 29 May 1987.

Notice of Receipt of an Application for an International Air Services Licence

PURSUANT to section 7 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Hawaiian Airlines Inc. has applied for an International Air Service Licence to operate a scheduled air service for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Pago Pago and Auckland. Further details of the proposal may be obtained from the Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, Private Bag, Wellington.

Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me on or before 29 May 1987.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification
DZ 6214 Specification for thermostats and thermal cutouts for domestic thermal storage water heaters (a.c. only). $6.82 (incl. GST)

This draft Standard specifies the performance and corresponding test requirements for thermostats, for non-self-resetting thermal cutouts, and for combinations thereof, intended for use in domestic storage water heaters.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies at the price shown from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181–187 Victoria Street (Private Bag), Wellington.

NOTE—Payment must accompany all requests for drafts. The closing date for the receipt of comment is 31 July 1987.
