Declaring Railway Land at Wiri to be Disposed of and Vested in the Manukau City Council for Flood Protection Works.
Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be disposed of and vested in the Manukau City Council for flood protection works.

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares as road and vests in the Oroua County Council the land described in the Schedule hereto.

District Anglers (South Canterbury and Waitaki Valley Acclimatisation Districts) Notice 1987 (4044)
Pursuant to section 71 of the Freshwater Fisheries Regulations 1983, the South Canterbury and Waitaki Valley Acclimatisation Societies hereby give the following District Anglers Notice:
NOTICE
-
Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the District Anglers (South Canterbury and Waitaki Valley Acclimatisation Districts) Notice 1987, and shall come into force on the 30th day of April 1987.

Interpretation—(1) Words and expressions in this notice which are defined in the Fisheries Act 1983 or the Freshwater Fisheries Regulations 1983 shall have the meanings so defined.

Open season—(1) Subject to subclauses (2) to (8) of this clause and to clause 4 of this notice, there shall be an open season for acclimatised fish from the 1st day of October in any year to the 30th day of April in the following year (both days inclusive).
(2) There shall be an open season for fishing for acclimatised fish from the first Saturday after Queen’s Birthday Weekend to the 31st day of August in the same year (both days inclusive) in the Rangitata River downstream from the bridge on the Main North Road.
(3) There shall be an open season for fishing for acclimatised fish from the 1st day of May to the 31st day of August in the same year (both days inclusive) in Lakes Tekapo, Aviemore, and Benmore;
(4) There shall be an open season for fishing for acclimatised fish from the 1st day of October in any year to the 30th day of September in the year following (both days inclusive) in the Pukaki-Ohau and Tekapo-Pukaki hydro canals.
(5) There shall be an open season for fishing for acclimatised fish from the 1st day of May 1987 to the 5th day of June 1987 (both days inclusive) in the Rangitata River, seaward of a line drawn between two poles situated on either side of the upstream limit of the estuarine area;
(6) There shall be an open season for fishing for acclimatised fish from the 1st day of May 1987 to the 31st day of May 1987 (both days inclusive) in the Orari River seaward of a line running in a southerly direction from the flood gates in the estuary;
(7) There shall be an open season for fishing for acclimatised fish from the 1st day of May 1987 to the 31st day of May 1987 (both days inclusive) in the Opunui River seaward of a designated line between Milford Reserve and Smith’s property (both ends of that line being marked by poles on the river banks);
(8) No licence holder shall fish for or take any acclimatised fish except during an open season.

Closed season—(1) There shall be a closed season for fishing for acclimatised fish—
(a) from the 1st day of October to the Friday preceding the first Saturday in November in the same year (both days inclusive), in Lake Alexandrina, Lake McGregor, Lake Murray, Lake Ohau, and Lake Middleton, or in any small high-country tarn, or in the tributaries of the said lakes and tarns, or in Deep Stream east of the bridge where it enters Lake Aviemore, or in the Ahuriri River or its tributaries, or in the Otematata River or its tributaries, or in the Ohau River or its tributaries;
(b) from the 1st day of March to the 30th day of April in the same year (both days inclusive) in Lyan Creek and its tributaries, in the Rangitata River and its tributaries above the point known as Red Rocks Bluff, that point being more particularly shown by white posts on the river bank;
(c) from the 1st day of March to the 30th day of April in the same year (both days inclusive) in the Rangitata River from the west end of the Rangitata Gorge downstream to its confluence with Boundary Creek, both points being more particularly shown by white posts on the river banks;
(d) from the 1st day of February to the 30th day of April in the same year (both days inclusive) in Larch Stream;
