Commerce Act 1986, Merger or Takeover Proposal
Notice is hereby given of the following determination by the Commerce Commission pursuant to section 66 (6) of the Commerce Act 1986:
Decision No. 191 (Ref. AUT/MT-46/1)
On 26 March 1987 the Commerce Commission determined to give a clearance to the proposal that W. Richmond Ltd. may acquire up to 100 percent of the issued share capital in the Hawkes Bay Farmers Meat Company Ltd.
The full text of the determination is available for inspection at the Commission’s offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Copies may also be purchased on application to the Commission (P.O. Box 10-273, Wellington).

Transport Act 1962, Section 140
To: Patrick Kevin Gubbins (referred to below as “the licensee”).
And to: The Secretary for Transport, Wellington.
Take notice that pursuant to section 140 of the Transport Act 1962, the Licensing Authority for the Wellington Transport District will hold a public inquiry into the operation of Taxi Service Licence No. 32T.
The reason why the inquiry is to be conducted is that the Licensing Authority wishes to determine on stated grounds:
(a) Whether or not the licensee meets the criteria set out in section 124 of the Transport Act 1962, and
(b) Whether or not the licensee has failed to comply with any term or condition of the licence.
The public inquiry will be held on Thursday, 21 May 1987 at 9.30 a.m. in the Conference Room, Second Floor, Pearse House, corner Wills and Ghuznee Streets, Wellington.
The licensee and the Secretary for Transport are entitled to appear and to be heard at the public inquiry and may be represented by a lawyer or other agent. Any further information regarding the inquiry may be obtained from the undersigned.

Price Determination (Milk Delivery Margins and Allowances)
By a determination dated 8 April 1987, the Commerce Commission acting pursuant to section 25 (3a) of the Milk Act 1967 (as amended by section 110 of the Commerce Act 1986) fixed new standard rates of allowances for the delivery of milk.

The determination is set out in the Schedule below, and copies of the determination (including reasons therefore) may be obtained from the Commerce Commission, P.O. Box 10-273, Wellington.

The new standard rates of allowances for the delivery of milk is effective from 1 January 1987.

In addition to the new standard rates of allowances, there remains payable to every vendor entitled to claim margins or allowances in terms of the Milk Marketing Order 1968, the sum of $29.84 per day for every day on which deliveries are undertaken.

For the purposes of the Schedule, “delivery” means delivered and charged for in accordance with the provisions of the Milk Price Notice (1980) and amendments and the milk station area prices fixed by the New Zealand Milk Board.
