Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Services Licence

NOTICE is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 to amend Continental Airlines’ International Air Services Licence to permit the operation of B747 aircraft on the San Francisco/Los Angeles - Honolulu - Auckland - Sydney/Melbourne route.

This amendment will take effect on 17 April 1987.

PURSUANT to section 51 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Russell Frederick Poole, hereby declare a state of Regional Civil Defence Emergency to be in force in that part of the Clutha-Central Otago Region described as being Vincent Combined District (comprising the County of Vincent and the Boroughs of Alexandra and Cromwell).

The state of Regional Civil Defence Emergency shall come into force at 9.29 a.m. on Wednesday, the 11th day of March 1987.

PURSUANT to section 56 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, Russell Frederick Poole, hereby terminate the state of Regional Civil Defence Emergency declared in respect of the Clutha-Central Otago Region described as being Vincent Combined District (comprising the County of Vincent and the Boroughs of Alexandra and Cromwell) at 9.29 a.m. on Thursday, the 12th day of March 1987.

The termination of the state of Regional Civil Defence Emergency shall take effect from 10.30 a.m. on Thursday, the 12th day of March 1987.
