NOTICE is hereby given that the Commerce Commission has given clearance to the following merger and takeover proposals in terms of section 66(3)(a) of the Commerce Act 1986.

Chase Corporation Ltd, or a wholly owned subsidiary may acquire the freehold and leasehold property of Mainstay Properties Ltd., situated at Colombo, Gloucester and Armagh Streets and Oxford Terrace, Christchurch

Realty Development Corporation Ltd. may acquire from Lion Corporation the property occupied by the Britannia Hotel, situated at 74 Willis Street Wellington

Realty Development Corporation Ltd. may acquire 100 percent of the share capital of Mercer Properties Ltd.

Brierley Investments Ltd. may acquire 100 percent of the issued share capital of R. W. Saunders Ltd.

Brierley Investments Ltd. may acquire 100 percent of the issued share capital of Skellerup Industries Ltd.

Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan may acquire up to 100 percent of the ordinary share capital of Toyota New Zealand Ltd.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation may acquire up to 100 percent of the issued share capital of Todd Motors Ltd.

Euro-National Corporation Ltd., either itself or through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, may acquire up to 100 percent of the shareholding of Wormaid International New Zealand Ltd.

T. and W. Young Ltd. may acquire up to 100 percent of the issued share capital in Cloverlea Tavern Ltd.

Brierley Investments Ltd. may acquire up to 50 percent of the issued share capital in Lane Walker Rudkin Ltd.
