NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR AN ESSENTIAL WORK, NAMELY ROAD AND SEVERANCE IN KAITAIA BOROUGH
-
Take notice that the Kaitaia Borough Council proposes to take under the Public Works Act 1981 the land described in the Schedule to this notice.
-
The land is required for essential work namely road and severance and it is intended to use the land for a principal internal road and severance being a connection of two portions of Whangatane Drive.
-
A plan of the land intended to be taken is open for public inspection during ordinary office hours at the Kaitaia Borough Council offices in Redan Road, Kaitaia.

(c) The council has already negotiated acquisition of Lot 2, D.P. 110311, for road beyond the said land.
(d) Extension of Whangatane Drive is necessary to enable plans for the relocation of a major transport depot on Lot 1, D.P. 110311 to occur. -
The land has not yet been taken.
-
Persons other than persons who are served with a copy of this notice who wish to object must send a written objection to reach the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, by the 22nd day of May 1987.
