FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Wairoa District: at Wairoa.
ALL the roads within the Wairoa Ward with the exception of:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from the western boundary of Wairoa Ward to a point 150 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Kitchener Street.
Mitchell Road: from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 50 metres, measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from the said State highway.
Powdrell Street.
Rutherford Street: from Powdrell Street to a point 500 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Rutherford Street from Kitchener Street.
SITUATED within Wairoa District adjacent to Wairoa Ward:
Crarer Street.
Kaimoana Street: from a point 50 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said street from Airport Road to a point 400 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said Street from No. 38 State Highway (Waiotapu-Wairoa via Waikaremoana).
Ormond Street.
Ruatanhiwa Road: from Crarer Street to a point 150 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Te Rato Road.
Te Rato Road.
SITUATED within the Wairoa District at Mahia Beach township:
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-eastern side of Lochiel Street at its intersection with Kinikini Road at Taylors Bay; thence north-easterly, generally, along the south-eastern side of Lochiel Street to the north-eastern side of Ratau Street; thence north-westerly, generally, along the north-eastern side of Ratau Street to the south-eastern side of Fortescue Street; thence along that road side to a point 120 metres measured north-easterly, generally, from Ratau Street; thence across Fortescue Street at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; thence south-westerly, generally, along the western side of Fortescue Street to Ratau Street; thence north-westerly, generally, along the north-eastern side of Ratau Street to Newcasle Street; thence northerly and north-easterly, generally, along that road side and across the Mahia-East Coast Road; thence by right line due west to the sea coast of Hawke’s Bay; thence southerly, generally, along the shore of Mahia Bay and Hawkes Bay to a point opposite the commencing point; thence across the Kinikini Road to the commencing point.
SITUATED within the Wairoa District at Opoutama:
Old Main Road.
Opoutama Road: from a point 50 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Ormond Drive to a point 50 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from its southern intersection with Old Main Road.
SITUATED within Wairoa District at Tuai:
Main Road: from the Waikare Takehe River bridge to its north-ern end.
Rotten Row.
Valley Road.
Western Extension.
SITUATED within Wairoa District at Raupunga:
Putere Road: from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 560 metres measured northerly and westerly, generally, along Putere Road from the said State highway.
SITUATED within Wairoa District at Nuhaka:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 320 metres measured along the said State highway in a northerly direction, generally, from its junction with Nuhaka Road to a point 400 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from the said junction.
Nuhaka Road: from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 1100 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from the said State highway.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Wairoa District at Frasertown:
No. 38 State Highway (Waiotapu-Wairoa via Waikaremoana): from a point 80 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from the southern end of the Scamperdown Bridge to Brownlies Road.
SITUATED within Wairoa District at Raupunga:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 200 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Putere Road to a point 360 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Putere Road.

The Traffic (Cook County) Notice No. 2, 1987
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:
NOTICE
The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Cook County at Patutahi Township:
Atkins Street: from Patutahi Road to a point 100 metres measured Westerly, generally, along the said street from Bilham Road.
Biggs Street: from Atkins Street to Seddon Street.
Bilham Road: from Seddon Street to a point 100 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Atkins Street.
Lavenham Road: from Atkins Street to a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Seddon Street.
Onslow Road: from Bilham Road to a point 20 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Patutahi Road.
Park Road: from Biggs Street to Kaimoe Road and from Lavenham Road to Patutahi Road.
Patutahi Road: from a point 100 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Atkins Street to the northern end of Patutahi Road.
