The Road Classification (Pahiatua Borough) Notice No. 1, 1987

PURSUANT to regulation 3(8) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Pahiatua Borough) Notice No. 1, 1987.

  2. The Pahiatua Borough Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule is approved.

PAHIATUA BOROUGH

Roads Classified in Class One

All roads and parts of roads under the control of the Pahiatua Borough Council.

The Traffic (Piako County) Notice No. 1, 1987

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Piako County) Notice No. 1, 1987.

The notice dated the 15th day of December 1959*, issued pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 which relates to a road within Piako County adjacent to Te Aroha Borough, is revoked.

The Traffic (Piako County) Notice 1968, dated the 1st day of May 1968†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is revoked.

The Traffic (Ekatahuna County) Notice No. 1, 1987

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ekatahuna County) Notice No. 1, 1987.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Ekatahuna County) Notice No. 2, 1975, dated the 1st day of May 1975*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Ekatahuna County at Ekatahuna:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 120 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Alfredton Road to a point 20 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Macara Street: Albert Street.

Alfredton Road: from its intersection with No. 2 State Highway to a point 250 metres measured easterly, generally, along said road from Haswell Street.

Bridge Street.

Stanly Street: from Bridge Street to a point 70 metres measured southerly, generally, along said street from Bridge Street.

Anderson Street.

Bengston Street.

Bridge Street.

Carters Road.

Church Street.

Haswell Street.

Herbert Street.

High Street: from Bridge Street to a point 70 metres measured southerly, generally, along said street from Bridge Street.

Jones Street.

Macara Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Ekatahuna County at Ekatahuna:

ALL those roads within the boundaries of Ekatahuna Community (which community was constituted pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, by order dated the 25th day of November 1974, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, on the 19th day of December 1974 on page 2976) excepting:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 120 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Alfredton Road to the southern boundary of Ekatahuna Community, and from the northern boundary of Ekatahuna Community to a point 20 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Macara Street.

Bright Street.

Cullen Street.

High Street: from Cullen Street to a point 70 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said street from Bright Street.

The Traffic (Manukau City—Mangere/Otara Wards) Notice No. 1, 1987

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City—Mangere/Otara Wards) Notice No. 1, 1987.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Manukau City—Mangere/Otara Wards) Notice No. 2, 1986, signed the 19th day of November 1986*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is revoked.
