Inglewood District Boundary Definition Notice 1987

PURSUANT to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Inglewood District Boundary Definition Notice 1987.

2. The boundaries of Inglewood District are hereby defined as set out in the Schedule hereto, those boundaries having been altered by Order in Council published in the New Zealand Gazette, 31 July 1986, No. 118, page 3180 and which came into force on 11 October 1986.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF INGLEWOOD DISTRICT

A1.1. that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded by a line commencing at the summit of Mount Taranaki or Mount Egmont and proceeding north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the North Taranaki district, hereinbefore described to a point in the middle of the Waitara River being the confluence of that river and the Manganui River; thence south-easterly generally up the middle of the Waitara River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of part Lot 7, D.P. 658, thence north-easterly to and along that boundary, the southern boundary of Section 14, Block XIV, Waitara Survey District, and again the south-eastern boundary of the part Lot 7, aforesaid, to the western side of Otaraoa Road, thence northerly generally along the western side of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12264; thence easterly to and along that boundary, the northern boundary of part Section 12, Block XV, Waitara Survey District and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of that river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 20, Block XV, aforesaid; thence easterly to and along that boundary and the northern boundary of the said Section 21 to the northern side of Taramoukou Road; thence easterly generally along the northern side of that road and the western side of Mataro Road to and southerly along the western sides of Piko Road and Mataro Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 5, Block XVI, Waitara Survey District; thence easterly generally to and along that boundary and the northern boundaries of Sections 6 and 7, Block XVI, aforesaid, and Sections 1 and 2, Block XIII, Upper Waitara Survey District to the western boundary of Section 9, Block XIII, aforesaid; thence northerly along the north-eastern side of Mangapito Road; thence north-westerly along the northern eastern side of that road to the northern boundary of Section 18, Block XIV, Upper Waitara Survey District; thence easterly generally to and along that boundary and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Waitara River; thence southerly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 18, Block V, Ngatimaru Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line across Autawa Road to and north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 18, to and south-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that Section to the northern boundary of Section 13, Block VIII, Huiroa Survey District; thence westerly and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of that Section, to and again westerly along the northern boundary of Section 9, Block VIII, aforesaid, to the eastern boundary of Section 11, Block VIII, aforesaid; thence southerly along that boundary and its production across Autawa Road to the middle of the Waitara River; thence westerly down the middle of that river and south-westerly generally up the middle of the Makino Stream to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 25, Block XII, Huiroa Survey District; thence westerly along a right line to and across a legal road to and again westerly along the northern boundary of the said Section 25, and the northern boundaries of Sections 17 and 3, Block XI, aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Mana Road; thence southerly generally in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 7203; thence southerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Makino Stream; thence westerly generally up the middle of the Makino and Makara Streams to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 6978; thence northerly to and along that boundary to and westerly along the southern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 5192, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the western side of Makara Road; thence westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of the said Section 26, Block X, Huiroa Survey District; and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the western side of Mangaotea Road; thence northerly along the western side of that road to and westerly along the southern boundary of Section 14, Block X, aforesaid; thence easterly along that boundary to the northern side of Croydon Road; thence westerly generally along the northern side of that road to the eastern boundary of part Section 18, Block IX, aforesaid; thence northerly and westerly along the eastern and northern boundaries of the said part Section 18, to the right bank of the Mangarui River; thence due south along a right line to the middle of the Mangarui River; thence westerly down the middle of that river, to and south-westerly up the middle of the Waipuku Stream to a point where the middle of that stream intersects the western side of Forest Road; thence westerly along a right line to the point of commencement.
