At Wellington this 7th day of December 1987

Present:

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

Pursuant to section 37 (1) (b) of the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

Order

1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Queenstown Borough and Lake County Union Amendment Order (No. 2), 1987, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Queenstown Borough and Lake County Union Order 1986 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal order”).

2. Rating—The principal order is hereby amended by adding the following subclause to Clause 8 thereof:

“(2) Subject to the previous provisions of this clause, the system or rating to be in force in the united district shall be the capital value rating system.”
