At Wellington this 23rd day of November 1987

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 37 (1) of the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
Order
1. Title and Commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Queenstown Borough and Lake County Union Amendment Order 1987 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Queenstown Borough and Lake County Union Order 1986 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal order").
(2) This order shall be deemed to have come into force on the same day as the principal order.
2. Vesting of Property—Clause 13 of the principal order is hereby revoked and replaced by the following clause 13:
"13. Vesting of property—(1) The corporation of the united district shall in respect of the districts of the uniting authorities have vested in it, subject to all existing encumbrances, all property, both real and personal, vested in the corporations of the uniting authorities.
(2) For the purposes of this Order, any reference (express or implied) to the 'Queenstown Borough Council' or the 'Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the Borough of Queenstown' or the 'Lake County Council' or the 'Chairman, Councillors and Citizens of the County of Lake' in any instrument or other document whatever, or in any entry or record made on any register in relation to any instrument or other document whatever shall, unless the context otherwise requires, be read as a reference to the Queenstown-Lakes District Council."

Queen Elizabeth The Second Arts Council of New Zealand: Designation of Administrative Local Authority for Community Arts Council
Pursuant to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, as subsequently amended under section 3 in 1977, I hereby designate the Mount Eden Borough Council to be the administrative local authority for the Maungawhau Community Arts Council.
