Protective Direction has not been applied for. If it is considered that any interested person will be unfairly affected by the applications, that person may lodge an objection with the Registrar within 2 months from the date of this Gazette. Objections must comply with section 19 of the Plant Varieties Act 1973.

The Use of Insecticides in Slaughtering Places, Meat Packing Houses, and Canneries—Notice Relating to the Use of Insecticides (No. 4260)
Pursuant to regulation 3 (2) of the Stock (Insecticides and Oestrogens) Regulations 1961, notice is hereby given that the insecticides specified in the Schedule hereto are approved for use in slaughtering places, meat packing houses and canneries for the purpose of destroying or controlling arthropod parasites or other insect pests subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule.
