Game Industry Board Regulations 1985

Appointment of Deputy Member to the Game Industry Board (No. 4261; Ag. 1/53/2/55)

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Game Industry Board Regulations 1985, I hereby appoint

Keith James Neylon, company manager of Invercargill (on the nomination of the New Zealand Game Industry Association (Inc.))

to be deputy member of Messrs D. L. Hazlett and B. Waterfield on the Game Industry Board for residue of the term of office for Mr G. Thompson, resigned, which is due to expire on 10 July 1988.

to be a member of the Game Industry Board for residue of the term of office for Mr R. L. Hughes, resigned, which is due to expire on 10 July 1988.

New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987

The New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority—Approved Export Market Strategies and Export Licence Requirements

Pursuant to section 30 of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987, the Authority hereby gives notice with respect to the following prescribed products, apricots, sweet cherries, nectarines, peaches, Japanese and European plums that:

(a) On the 1st day of December 1987, the Authority approved export market strategies with respect to those prescribed products pursuant to section 28 of the said Act; and

(b) Pursuant to section 29 of the said Act, the Authority has fixed the 19th day of December 1987, as the date those export marketing strategies shall come into force; and

(c) From the 19th day of December 1987, any person who wishes to export those prescribed products will be required to hold an export licence issued under the said Act; and

(d) Application for an export licence may be made on a form provided by the Authority whose address is P.O. Box 11332, Wellington.

Noxious Plants Act 1978

Notice Declaring Wild Oat (Avena fatua, Avena sterilis ssp. ludoviciana) A Class B Noxious Plant (No. 4264; Ag. 12/10/18/6)

  1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares wild oat (Avena fatua, Avena sterilis ssp. ludoviciana) to be a Class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of the following District Noxious Plants Authorities:

Masterton, Featherston, Wairarapa South, Eketahuna and Pahiatua.

  1. This notice shall come into effect on the day after its date of notification in the Gazette.
