Pursuant to section 11 of the Films Act 1983, the following decisions have been made with regard to the granting of waivers from the requirements relating to examination and exemption from examination for the above period.

Appointment of Assessors to Assist the District Court, Wellington, Hearing Applications of the Wellington City Council for Confirmation of Notice in Respect of Earthquake Hazardous Buildings

Pursuant to section 624 (8) of the Local Government Act 1974, I hereby appoint from the panel of persons published in the Gazette, No. 163, of 24 September 1987, page 4445

David Conway Hopkins, and

Reginald Bruce Shephard

to be assessors to assist the District Court, Wellington, hearing an application of the Wellington City Council for confirmation of notices issued, pursuant to section 624 (3) of the aforesaid Act, to the owners of the buildings situated at 360 Lambton Quay (known as Bermans Building) and 131 Manners Street (known as Edwards Building), Wellington, for the removal of an earthquake danger by securing those buildings or by taking down those buildings.
