Vocational Training Council Act 1982

The Voluntary Welfare Agency Training Board Notice 1984 Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to section 34 of the Vocational Training Council Act 1982, The Minister of Employment hereby gives the following notice

Notice

1. Title and Commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Voluntary Welfare Agency Training Board Notice 1984, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Voluntary Welfare Agency Training Board Notice 1984 (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 14th day after its notification in the Gazette.

2. Clause 2 revoked—The principal notice is hereby amended by revoking clause 2 and substituting the following clause:

“2. Voluntary Welfare Agency Training Board—(1) There shall be an industry training board which shall be known as the Voluntary Welfare Agency Training Board and shall comprise the following members:

(a) Six members appointed by the New Zealand Federation of Voluntary Welfare Organisations (Inc). The chairperson is to be elected from one of those persons.

(b) One member appointed by agreement between the legally recognised Staff Associations of member organisations of the New Zealand Federation of Voluntary Welfare Organisations (Inc).

(c) One member appointed to represent the Director-General of Education.

(d) One member appointed to represent the Vocational Training Council.

(2) In addition to those members specified in sub-clause (1) of this clause, the Board may co-opt not more than 4 additional members.”

I, Derek Ernest Homewood, Secretary for Transport, pursuant to section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby revoke the appointment of:

as a Supervising Officer and Honorary Beach Ranger for the Ministry of Transport, Southern Region, for the purpose of the Harbours Act 1950.
