Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Navy

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.

ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY

Commander K. R. Moen to be Captain with seniority from 29 July 1986 and effect from 11 January 1987.

The appointment of Chaplain P. D. Bean, L.TH., is extended until 20 May 1990.

Lieutenant Commander M. de V. Moore, B.A., M.SC., to be acting Commander with effect from 5 January 1987.

The appointments of the following Lieutenant Commanders are extended until the date shown:

Commander Ralph Benson McCorkindale, V.R.D., B.E.(ELECT.) is placed on the Retired List of the RNZNVR with effect from 1 January 1987, and is re-employed on the Inactive List of the RNZNVR until 30 April 1987.

EMERGENCY LIST OF OFFICERS OF THE NAVAL RESERVES

Lieutenant Commander Kelvin Douglas Guthrie is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 15 December 1986.

Appointment of Tenancy Adjudicator

Approval of Qualified Person for the Purposes of Section 402 of the Companies Act 1955

PURSUANT to section 402 of the Companies Act 1955, I hereby approve

Extension of District Court Judges’ Jurisdiction
