Import Licence Tenders

PURSUANT to the Import Control Regulations 1973 (S.R. 1980/246), I, P. E. Donovan, Deputy Secretary of Trade and Industry, acting under delegated authority hereby call tenders for the goods specified below. Tenders close on the 30th November 1987 at 5 p.m. and must be received by the Registrar of Tenders by then to be valid.

Instructions for tenders and the general terms and conditions which apply to the submission and acceptance of tenders are set out in the Guide to Global Import Licence Tendering dated November 1986, as amended by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 62, dated 30 April 1987. Bids may be submitted through the departmental bureaufax system. Tenders should be addressed to the Registrar of Tenders, P.O. Box 3146, Wellington or Bureaufax (04) 734 638 or be delivered by hand to the First Floor of the Bowen State Building, Wellington. Tenders for Round 56 must reach the Registrar no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, 30th November 1987.

BASIC LICENCE

The goods shown below are a re-tender of the 15 percent of basic licence originally tendered in May 1983. Import licences won under this arrangement do not however themselves become basic licence i.e. they are not issued as of right hereafter as basic licences. All item codes except those marked with an asterisk will be valid from 1 January 1988 but will become exempt of import licence control as from 1 July 1988. No refunds will be made on unused licence. Those marked with an asterisk are included in Industry Development Plans and will be valid for a full year from 1 January 1988.
