2. Exemption—The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Tauranga Branch an organisation approved* under the former name of Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society (Incorporated), Tauranga Branch by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at 129 Birch Street and 19 Christopher Street, Tauranga, from:

(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in the workshop; and

(b) The Holidays Act 1981, the Minimum Wage Act 1945, and section 10 (2) (b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981.

Rangitikei County Council—Appointed to Manage and Control Turakina Cemetery

PAUL REEVES, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 23 (3) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand with the consent of the Rangitikei County Council, hereby appoints the Rangitikei County Council to have the control and Management of Turakina Cemetery (Closed), being the land described in the Schedule to this notice, as from the 1 May 1988.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 4.4979 hectares, more or less, being parts Section 32, Turakina District, situated in Block XV, Ikitara Survey District and being the land comprised and described in certificate of title 342/150 (Wellington Registry).

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, signed this 4th day of October 1987.

to be an acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the Children and Young Persons Court for a term of 2 years on and from 1 October 1987.
