Resumption of Duties by the Governor-General
His Excellency the Governor-General announces that he returned from Niue at 5.20 p.m. on the 22nd day of October and has resumed the performance of all the functions of the office of Governor-General.
Accordingly, the Right Honourable Sir Ronald Keith Davison, G.B.E., C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, who assumed office as the Administrator of the Government as from 11.00 a.m. on the 18th day of October 1987 (as evidenced by a notice published in the Gazette* and dated the 19th day of October 1987), has relinquished office as the Administrator of the Government. (By Command).
