Initiation of Dumping and Countervailing Investigation

PURSUANT to the provisions contained in section 186H of the Customs Act 1966, notice is hereby given by the Comptroller of Customs of the initiation of an investigation to determine both the existence and effect of the alleged dumping and subsidising of the goods set out in the Schedule, the Comptroller being satisfied that evidence sufficient to support the initiation of an investigation has been provided that:

  • The goods exported or intended to be exported to New Zealand are being dumped and subsidised; and

  • By reason thereof material injury to an industry has been or is being caused or threatened.

Thames-Coromandel District Council—Notice of Result of Loan Proposal

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the electors of the area of benefit of the proposed Coromandel Community Sewerage Scheme taken on the 30th day of September 1987 on the proposal of the abovenamed local authority to raise a loan of $340,000 to be known as the Coromandel Sewerage Loan 1987 for the purpose of providing a sewerage system within a defined area of the Coromandel township, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 169.

The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 104.

The number of informal votes was 1.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
