Land Acquired for Road in Block XVI, Patetere South Survey District, Matamata County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road, which pursuant to section 11(1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the 22nd day of October 1987.

ALL that piece of land containing 97 square metres, being part Section 9, Block XVI, Patetere South Survey District; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 56889, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Land Declared to be Road in the City of Christchurch

PURSUANT to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be road, which shall remain vested in The Christchurch City Council.

Declaring Stopped Road to be Disposed of in Block X, Ahwitu Survey District, Franklin County

PURSUANT to section 117(3) of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares the stopped road described in the Schedule hereto to be vested in Alan Thomas Smalley of Glenbrook, farmer and Jill Patricia Smalley, his wife, as tenants in common in equal shares, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. B. 420738.2, North Auckland Land Registry.

Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land for Coal Mining Operations in Blocks IX and X, Awakino North Survey District and Block IX, Awakino East Survey District, Waitomo District

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the declaration dated the 12th day of June 1986 published in New Zealand Gazette of 19 June 1986, No. 93, page 2566, declaring land to be acquired for coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 by amending the operative clause thereto to read as follows:

“PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, subject as to the land secondly described in the said Schedule to easement certificates H. 258800.3 and H. 258800.4, South Auckland Land Registry, for coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 and shall vest in the Crown on the 19th day of June 1986.”

Land Acquired, Subject to a Right to Convey Water, for the Supply of Electricity in Rangiora District

PURSUANT to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the supply of electricity and shall vest in The North Canterbury Electric Power Board, subject to the easement described in the Second Schedule hereto, on the 22nd day of October 1987.

FIRST SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 10 square metres, situated in Block VI, Rangiora Survey District, being part Lot 1, D.P. 20078; as shown marked ‘A’ on S.O. Plan 16665, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch.

SECOND SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

The Crown shall at all times have the right to convey water for a secondary school over the line ‘B–C’ as shown on S.O. Plan 16665, with the same rights and powers implied in and attending to a right to convey water as set out in the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952 as if the same were fully set out herein.
