Pursuant to section 23 (3) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, Governor-General, hereby appoint the Hurunui County Council to have the control and management of the Balcairn Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule to this notice, from 1 November 1987.
