The Machinery (Tractor Exemption) Notice 1987
PURSUANT to section 21B(1) of the Machinery Act 1950, the Minister of Labour hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Machinery (Tractor Exemption) Notice 1987.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication. -
Exemption of certain operations in connection with blueberry gardens—Operations in, or connected with and in the immediate vicinity of, any blueberry garden are hereby declared to be not practicable for a tractor fitted with an approved safety frame.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice exempts tractors used in or near blueberry gardens from the requirements of section 21B of the Machinery Act 1950 relating to the use of tractor safety frames.
Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence
NOTICE is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Cook Islands International Airlines to permit the airline to operate such additional scheduled services as may from time to time be approved by the Secretary for Transport, subject to any conditions which may be imposed by the Minister of Civil Aviation and Meteorological Services in respect of those additional services.
This amendment will take effect on 1 December 1987.

Notice of Receipt of an Application for an International Air Service Licence
PURSUANT to section 7 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Thai Airways International Ltd. has applied for an International Air Service Licence to permit the airline to operate a scheduled air service for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Bangkok and Auckland. Further details of the proposal may be obtained from the Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, Private Bag, Wellington.
Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me on or before 6 November 1987.

Notice of Application for the Renewal of an International Air Services Licence
PURSUANT to section 7 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Aerolineas Argentinas has applied for an International Air Service Licence to operate air services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Argentina and New Zealand for a further 2-year period from 1 December 1987. Further details of this proposal may be obtained from the Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, Private Bag, Wellington.

Further details of this proposal may be obtained from the Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, Private Bag, Wellington.
Any person or organisation desiring to make representations relating to this application, must forward these representations in writing to reach me on or before 6 November 1987.

Price Determination (Milk Delivery Margins and Allowances)
By a determination dated 25 September 1987, the Commerce Commission acting pursuant to section 25 (3A) of the Milk Act 1967 (as amended by section 110 of the Commerce Act 1986) fixed new standard rates of allowances for the delivery of milk.

The determination is set out in the Schedule below, and copies of the determination (including reasons therefore) may be obtained from the Commerce Commission, P.O. Box 10-273, Wellington.

The new standard rates of allowances for the delivery of milk is effective from 25 September 1987.

In addition to the new standard rates of allowances, there remains payable to every vendor entitled to claim margins or allowances in terms of the Milk Marketing Order 1968, the sum of $29.84 per day for every day on which deliveries are undertaken.

For the purposes of the Schedule, “delivery” means delivered and charged for in accordance with the provisions of the Milk Price Notice 1980 and amendments and the milk station area prices fixed by the New Zealand Milk Board.
