Conditions:

  1. Provisional licence.
  2. Stock numbers to be limited to 500 cattle.
  3. Trial supervision: Dr Bass, Ruakura. Dr Fitzpatrick, Massey and Dr Nicol, Lincoln.
  4. Trial sites: Ruakura Animal Research Centre, Hamilton. Massey University, Palmerston North and Lincoln College, Christchurch.
  5. Withholding times: Meat—65 days. Milk—not to be used on lactating cattle.
  6. The ear carrying the implant must be removed upon slaughter of the animal.
  7. All trials animals to be slaughtered for consumption within New Zealand.
  8. Results of trials are to be submitted to the Board within the 2-year licensing period.

Conditions:

  1. Provisional licence.
  2. To be used only by or under the supervision of a veterinary surgeon.
  3. The CIDR Type B carrying the capsule should be removed before slaughter.
  4. Withholding time: Meat—Animals producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be slaughtered during or within 30 days of the last treatment.
  5. Trials to be supervised by Dr A. Rhodes in co-operation with MAF Ruakura.
  6. Trial Sites: 1 Hawera, 3 Matamata, 3 Patca, 3 Hamilton, 2 Manaia, 2 Te Awamutu, 2 New Plymouth, 1 Temuka.
  7. Results of trials to be submitted to the Board within the 2-year licensing period.
