The Water Recreation (Waikato River) Notice 1987—The Neon Picnic Limited

I, Derek Ernest Homewood, Secretary for Transport, pursuant to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979* and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to section 8 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby give the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Waikato River) Notice 1987.

(b) This notice shall come into force on 29 January 1988 and shall remain in force until 9 February 1988.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, pursuant to regulation 18 of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979, the area of water described in the First Schedule hereto shall be reserved for vessels under the control and management of The Neon Picnic Limited.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water of the Waikato River as shown marked red on plan M.D. 16096, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE

  1. All persons in charge of a vessel shall adhere to and keep the provisions of all other Acts and regulations not specifically exempted by this notice.

  2. A suitable notice as may be approved by the Regional Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Auckland, shall be erected at sites deemed necessary by the Regional Secretary.

Approval of Advanced Driving Course

PURSUANT to section 48 (2) (a) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to powers delegated to me by an instrument of delegation dated 3 August 1987, I, Geoffrey Thomas Henry, Assistant Director of Road Transport, hereby approve, for the purposes of regulation 32 of the Transport (Drivers’ Licensing) Regulations 1987,

  • the New Zealand Army Advanced Driving Course.

  • the New Zealand Forest Products Advanced Driving Course.

to be advanced driving courses.
