Maori Land Development Notice

Whereas by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and whereas by reason of subdivision of titles it is considered necessary to replace the notice aforesaid:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs gives notice as follows:

Variation of Permit to Conduct a Lottery

Pursuant to section 69 (3) of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby varies the notice dated 15 March 1984 (and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 1984, No. 44, page 859), permitting the trustee of the late George Adams, referred to as Tattersalls, to conduct within New Zealand Tattersall lotteries promoted in the State of Victoria by deleting the words—

"(4) Melbourne Cup Sweepstake lotteries of 200 000 tickets at $10 each with a first prize not exceeding $600,000 in value."
