Land Acquired Subject to and Together With Certain Rights For the Purposes of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (Research Station) in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, subject to the right to drain surplus and other natural waters through the open drain shown on plan 5287 and subject to water rights in transfer 74843 together with the right to drain through the open drain shown on plan 5287, for the purposes of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (Research Station) and shall vest in the Crown on the 8th day of October 1987.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Land and Fauna of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (road) reserve, over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Wellington City Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CITY

Maori Land Development Notice

Whereas by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas by reason of a subdivision of title it is considered necessary to replace the notice aforesaid.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangaruru 1987, No. 9.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
