Redefining the Limits of Westport Harbour

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby redefines the limits of the Port of Westport as shown on plan M.D. 16467, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport and as more particularly described in the Schedule below.

The Order in Council of 20 September 1982* redefining the limits of Westport Harbour is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water bounded by a line commencing at the waters edge at high water ordinary spring tide, 3 nautical miles north-east of the true left bank of the mouth of the Ngakawau River, thence on a bearing 310° true distance 3 nautical miles, thence by a line to Cape Foulwind Lighthouse and having an inner limit being the seaward side of the State Highway 67 bridge.
