(2) No licence holder shall continue to use a rod and running line
to take trout or salmon on any day on which he has already taken
7 trout or salmon.

(3) It shall be permissible to make up the difference between a
lesser limit bag prescribed in one place and a higher limit bag pre-
scribed in another place.

  1. Minimum size to be taken—(1) There shall be no minimum
    size limit for either trout or salmon except that in the waters of
    Lake Mapourika no licence holder shall take or have in his or her
    possession any trout or salmon which does not exceed 30 cm in
    length.

(2) Every licence holder taking a trout or salmon which does not
exceed the specified length shall immediately return it with as little
injury as possible into the water from which it was taken.

  1. Revocation—The notice published in the supplement to
    Gazette, No. 139 of Thursday, 4 September 1986, on pages 3786–
    3787 titled District Anglers (West Coast and Westland Acclimatis-
    ation Districts) Notice 1986 is hereby revoked.
