Notice of Final Decision of New Zealand Geographic Board Re
Assigning of Place Names
WHEREAS pursuant to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic
Board Act 1946 notices were given on the 30th day of April 1987
the intention of the New Zealand Geographic Board to assign the
names set out in the Schedules attached to the said notices: and
whereas pursuant to Section 13 of the said Act, no objections have
been received to such of the proposed names as are set out in the
Schedule hereto.
Now therefore pursuant to sections 14 and 15 of the said Act,
notice is hereby given that the names set out in the Schedule hereto
are final decisions of the Board and that such decisions will take
effect on the 17th day of September 1987.
Plans showing the location of the features may be inspected at
the office of the Chief Surveyor for the Department, or at the office
of the Secretary of the Board.
