A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 422 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and used as a roadway, to be road, and to be vested in The Dunedin City Council.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block II, Portobello Survey District, described as follows:
Area m² Being
154 Otakou Maori Reserve, Block B, part Lot 18; marked ‘A’ on plan.
195 Otakou Maori Reserve, Block B, part Lot 19; marked ‘B’ on plan.
As shown marked as above-mentioned on ML Plan 338, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Dunedin.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of June 1987.

The High Court Registry (Tauranga) Notice 1987

PURSUANT to section 23a of the Judicature Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the High Court Registry (Tauranga) Notice 1987.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.
- Establishment of a High Court Registry at Tauranga—An office of the High Court, to be known as the Tauranga Registry, is hereby declared to be established at the City of Tauranga as from the commencement of the 1st day of September 1987.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 26th day of June 1987.

Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations,
and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Navy
PURSUANT to sections 27 (1) and 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.
ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF
Commodore D. B. Domett, C.B.E., A.D.C., to be Rear Admiral with seniority and effect from 11 May 1987, and is appointed Chief of Naval Staff for a period of 2 years vice the late Rear Admiral L. J. Tempero, C.B.
Captain J. A. Westphal: with reference to the notice published in the Gazette, 21 May 1987, No. 74, page 2240, for the seniority date “3 April 1987” substitute “31 March 1987”.
The appointment of Commander B. J. Mahoney, M.B.E., is extended until 23 December 1989.
Commander Douglas Flett Kerr is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 12 June 1989, with effect from 13 June 1987.
Lieutenant Commander David Erskine Charles Barratt, M.B.E., reverts to the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 6 May 1987.
Lieutenant Commander R. D. Cass, B.SC., to be temp. Commander with effect from 30 June 1987.
The appointment of Lieutenant Commander A. R. Dudley is extended until 14 January 1994.
