Declaring Easement Over Land Acquired for Soil Conservation
and River Control Purposes in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District,
Hawke’s Bay County
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, a perpetual easement in gross (right of
way) is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control
purposes (and may be surrendered at any time by notice in the
Gazette) and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board (called
the grantee) on the 2nd day of July 1987 a right of way over the
land described in the Schedule hereto, such grant being in accordance
with paragraph 1 of the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act
1952, together with the right of the grantee to prohibit the planting
of any tree, shrub or crop or the erecting of any buildings or
structures, on the right of way and subject to the grantee being
responsible for any maintenance in respect of its activities on the
right of way.

Interest in Land Acquired for Scientific and Industrial Research
Purposes (Office Accommodation) in Block X, Christchurch Survey
District, Waimairi County
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the undivided one-half share in the land
described in the First Schedule hereto held by David Anthony Robert
Haslam of Christchurch, agricultural consultant, together with the
leasehold estate in the flat shown on D.P. 40184 as Flat 2, is hereby
acquired subject to the encumbrances set out in the Second Schedule
hereto, and together with the rights and interests set out in the Third
Schedule hereto, for scientific and industrial purposes and shall vest
in the Crown on the 2nd day of July 1987.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey
District, being Lot 1, D.P. 38196. All composite leasehold and one-

Classification of Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be
Part of the Tirohanga Recreation Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Conservation, the Regional Manager hereby classifies
the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve
and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Tirohanga
Recreation Reserve to be administered as a recreation reserve by
the Taupo County Council.

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Conservation, the Regional Manager hereby classifies
the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve
for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act
1977, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the
Hikurangi Scenic Reserve.
