Classes of Goods

Ski boots

Gaiters, spats, puttees, cricket pads, shin-guards, and similar articles and parts thereof (excluding legwarmers and leggings)

Hat hoods and hat shapes, felt, not further worked than mere shaping of the brim

Babies’ bonnets and helmets, plaited or made from plaited or other strips of any materials, whether or not lined or trimmed

Hat shapes, plaited, or constructed by sewing or other means from plaited or other strips of any materials, whether or not having an overall decoration on the outer surface produced by secondary process, not blocked to shape and not further sewn, cut, decorated or otherwise worked, when declared by a manufacturer that they will be blocked or shaped and used by him in the manufacture of hats

(NOTE—This exemption does not cover articles commonly known as “beach straws”, being hats or hat shapes which are capable of being worn without further manufacture)

Articles of cement (including slag cement), of concrete or of artificial stone (including granulated marble agglomerated with cement), reinforced or not, viz: bricks, blocks, or slabs that do not exceed 610 mm in length, 204 mm in width and 204 mm in thickness (but not including goods composed of chips of marble set irregularly in cement, whether polished or not)

Pipes, roofing tiles, ridging and finials

Peat pots; graphite dies

Unworked drawn or blown glass, in rectangles (other than unworked drawn or blown clear glass sheets of 1.8 mm to 6.5 mm)

Glass fibre slivers and rovings; glass fibre yarns and fabrics other than bonded fibre fabrics
