Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Land Administration of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scientific purposes.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies the following resolution was passed by the Manukau City Council on the 26th day of April 1984.

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said Council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act”
