Declaration that Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Mackenzie County Council on the 7th day of March 1986:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Mackenzie County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said county in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a Local Purpose (Esplanade) Reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
