VIII CER WHEATFLOUR EXCLUSIVE AUSTRALIAN LICENCES
The ANZCER Trade Agreement (Article 10, paragraph 1 and Annex E)
states that the provision of access to the New Zealand market for
imports of wheat flour originating in Australia shall be mutually
determined by the Member States. It was subsequently determined that
the EAL allocation in item code 11.005 be split as follows:
a) 50% to the New Zealand Wheat Board for the importation of wheat
flour.
b) 50% put up for tender available to other commercial importers but
endorsed to exclude wheat flour i.e. licences to be endorsed
available only for speciality flours other than of wheat.
Licences under a) have been issued for 1985/86 as follows:

Ireland & Co Ltd $ 30,000
