Land Acquired for the Generation of Electricity (Housing) in the City of Hamilton

Presenting a Plan of a Road in Block IX, Waimea Survey District, Waimea County

To The District Land Registrar, Nelson.

I. The road described in the Schedule hereto and shown on the attached plan has been in use by the public and has been formed and improved out of the funds of The Waimea County Council.

2. A plan of the said road has been approved by the Chief Surveyor of the Land District in which the road is situated and is a sufficient plan for the purposes of the Public Works Act 1981.

3. The Minister of Works and Development hereby presents the said plan for registration by you, and you are accordingly authorised and required by the said section 121 (1) (d) to register the said plan against the property affected by it.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Kaikoura County Council at current market value. The proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserves Account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
