1046 THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE No. 35

Pursuant to the Import Control Regulations 1973 (S.R. 1908/246) the Secretary of Trade and Industry, acting under delegated authority is calling tenders for the goods specified below. Tenders closed on 25 November 1985 at 5 p.m. and had to be received by the Registrar of Tenders by then to be valid.

Instructions for tenderers and the general terms and conditions which apply to the submission and acceptance of tenders are set out in the summary in the preamble to Round 30 and in the Guide to Licence Tendering dated October 1985. Tenders should be addressed to the Registrar of Tenders, P.O. Box 246, Wellington, or be delivered by hand to the First Floor of the Bowen State Building, Wellington. Tenders for Round 31 had to reach the Registrar no later than 5 p.m. on 25 November 1985.

NOTE:

Tenderers should refer to the Customs Tariff and the Import Licensing Schedule for a definitive description of the goods included in the list below;
Tenderers should be conversant with the various statutes and regulations which importing enterprises are obliged to comply with.
Bids should be entered on bid form T. & I. 335D. They may be sent in one envelope. The envelope must be marked Import Licence Tender.

ROUND 31: CALL FOR TENDERS WHICH CLOSED ON 25 NOVEMBER 1985

This tender was issued under the new rules of tendering as summarised in the preamble to Round 30 and as set out in the revised Guide to Global Import Licence Tendering dated October 1985.

Please note that the tender for the Footwear Industry Plan was for units of a number of pairs of shoes and that the limitation on the number of units which can be won by a single tenderer was retained. There is no provision for the issuance of continuity licence for this tender.

Tenderers should note that successful bids in any tender number are amalgamated into one invoice, one licence.
