This day HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN was pleased to preside at the Executive Council at 3.45 p.m.

Acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council Her Majesty:

At the instance of the Minister of Finance approved an Order in Council making the Coinage Regulations 1967, Amendment No. 16:

Also an Order in Council making the Coinage (Royal Visit Commemorative Dollar) Regulations 1986:

At the instance of the Minister in Charge of War Pensions approved an Order in Council making the War Pensions (Rates of Pensions and Allowances) Order 1986:

At the instance of the Minister of Social Welfare approved an Order in Council making the Social Security (Rates of Benefits) Order 1986:

Also approved an Order in Council making the Social Security (National Superannuation) Order 1986:

At the conclusion of the formal business of the Council Her Majesty was graciously pleased:

On the advice of the Minister of Justice to give Her Authority for the registration under the Trade Marks Act 1953 of the trade mark “Royal Albert”:

Also to give Her Authority for the registration of the trade mark “Royal Sluis”:

On the advice of the Minister of Internal Affairs to give Her Authority under the Flags, Emblems and Names Protection Act 1981 for the use of the word “Royal” in the trademark Royal Albert:

Also to give Her Authority for the use of the word “Royal” in the trademark Royal Sluis:

The Queen was also graciously pleased to accept:

From the Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand, proof specimens of the 1986 Royal Visit Commemorative Dollar:

From the Postmaster-General, on behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand, an Album of Postage Stamps issued since Her Majesty’s Visit in 1981.
