Adding Land to Abel Tasman National Park

AT Wellington this 27th day of January 1986.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 7 of the National Parks Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette, be national park subject to the National Parks Act 1980 and shall be added to and form part of the Abel Tasman National Park.

Acting Judge of the High Court Appointed

PURSUANT to section 11A of the Judicature Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, has been pleased to appoint

to be an acting Judge of the High Court for a period of 6 months, the Commission to take effect on the 18th day of February 1986.

Appointment of Acting District Court Judge

PURSUANT to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, as amended, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Trevor Robert Gillies, District Court Judge of Otahuhu

as an acting District Court Judge to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction, to exercise the jurisdiction of the Children and Young Persons Courts at such places and for such period or periods only as the Chief District Court Judge may fix pursuant to the said section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947 for a term of 2 years on and from 5 April 1986.
